Preheat oven to 350\u00ba F (177\u00ba C).<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2. Cream butter, add sugar (avoid over mixing so that sugar remains crunchy).<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3. Add vanilla and slightly beaten egg.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4. Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt and mix.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">5. Gradually add dry ingredients.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">6. Add oats and coconut and\/or crisped rice cereal.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">7. Drop by teaspoonful, press flat with a fork dipped in water.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">8.
