The three presenters who have origin to these countries will show you a slice of the world of their tea.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cTea plays an important role in some countries. It is commonly consumed at social events and many cultures have created intricate formal ceremonies for these events<\/em>. (<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tea_culture\">Wikipedia<\/a>)\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Let\u2019s learn various types of tea, experience these cultures and aesthetic, and incorporate into your daily life, from self-care to social occasions!<\/p>\n<p>\u203b Held in English<\/p>\n<h2>About our Guest Speaker<\/h2>\n<h5><strong>Guest #1\uff08South Korea\uff09\uff1aMinHee Park<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>MinHee is originated from South Korea, living in Canada for more than 20 years, supporting individuals from various backgrounds at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kcwa.net\/en\/\">KCWA Family &amp; Social Services<\/a>. She enjoys tea which is one of the beautiful ways that help to soothe the body and calm the mind and to cope with stress and disturbing emotions and thoughts.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Guest #2\uff08China\uff09\uff1aAngela Guo<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Angela is a worker of a non-profit agency, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yeehong.com\/\">Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care<\/a>, supporting various older adults including individuals with Chinese origin. She will introduce the tea culture in China.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Guest #3\uff08Japan\uff09\uff1aRikko Osaki<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>The president of <a href=\"https:\/\/hokusan.ca\/\">Hokusan Tea Canada<\/a>, and Licensed Japanese green tea advisor.<\/p>\n<p>Growing up surrounded by tea farms in her home town, Shizuoka, Japan, Rikko got to experience and understand that tea truly is a way of life.\u00a0It\u2019s more than just a drink or something that\u2019s sipped on as a pass time, and \u00a0Rikko\u2019s hope at Hokusan is to spread her love of green tea worldwide. Rikko also has been involved at The Japanese Social Service since 2018, leading the Holiday Drive project as well as involving in PR and fundraising team at JSS.<\/p>\n<h2>How to Attend<\/h2>\n<p>Anyone interested can attend but pre-registration required.
