1-hour online session (Zoom) to learn about Home and Community Care Support Services<\/a> will be co-provided by Momiji Health Care Society<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Japanese Social Services<\/a>\u00a0(JSS), in Japanese.<\/p>\n

What is this session about?<\/h2>\n

“I’m experiencing problems in daily living because of chronic illnesses.” “I’m managing to do it on my own now, but it could get harder in time.\u201d These are common concerns among older adults. Those who wish to stay in their own home as long as possible, or those who are considering long-term care homes, might be wondering what types of available services or processes they need to go through.<\/p>\n

Join us to learn about the application processes of a long term care facilities, eligibility, and home support services with a care coordinator from Home and Community Care Support Services (formerly LHIN\/CCAC)<\/a>, one of our community support services.<\/p>\n

How to Attend<\/h2>\n

Anyone interested can attend but pre-registration is required. Click the registration button below, and fill and submit it two days before the session date (Mon, Aug 22). If you have difficulty using the online registration system, feel free to contact the hosting agency.<\/p>\n

Upon joining, please display your name on Zoom in ways we recognize that you registered. For example, instead of using nicknames or initials, include your first and\/or last (e.g. Hanako Y, H. Yamada, Hanako Yamada) . We may not be able to allow you to enter for security purposes if we can\u2019t recognize your name.<\/p>\n
