The first session of this month of our e-Learning seminar series hosted by\u00a0Momiji Health Care Society<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Japanese Social Services<\/a>\u00a0(JSS), joined by\u00a0Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care\u00a0<\/a>to learn about home and community care, inviting a speaker from Home and Community Care Support Services : Central East<\/a> .<\/a><\/p>\n

What is this session about?<\/h2>\n

\u201cI\u2019m experiencing problems in daily living because of chronic illnesses.\u201d \u201cI\u2019m managing to do it on my own now, but it could get harder in time.\u201d These are common concerns among older adults. Those who wish to stay in their own home as long as possible, or those who are considering long-term care homes, might be wondering what types of available services or processes they need to go through.<\/p>\n

Join us to learn about the application processes of a long term care facilities, eligibility, and home support services with a coordinator from Home and Community Care Support Services : Central East<\/a>, one of our community support services.<\/p>\n

How to Attend<\/h2>\n

Anyone interested can attend but pre-registration required. Click the registration button below, and fill and submit it by two days before the session date (Mon, Oct 10). If you have difficulty using online registration system, feel free to contact the hosting agency.<\/p>\n

Upon joining, please display your name on Zoom in ways we recognize that you registered. For example, instead of using nicknames or initials, include your first and\/or last (e.g. Hanako Y, H. Yamada, Hanako Yamada) . We may not be able to allow you to enter for security purposes if we can\u2019t recognize your name. We\u2019ll show you how to change the display name 5 minutes before the session start.<\/p>\n
