You will leave this session with better understanding of.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Discover how to safely get involved as a volunteer,<\/li>\n<li>Where to search for opportunities<\/li>\n<li>How to find the best match for your needs and goals \u2013 whether in-person or virtual.<\/li>\n<li>Understand leadership roles and where to find and apply for these roles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>\u8b1b\u5e2b\u7d39\u4ecb<\/h2>\n<h4><strong>Guest Speaker : Samah AbdelAziz (<em>Coordinator of Programs at Volunteer Toronto)<\/em><\/strong><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-18458 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/jss.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/volunteertoronto.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"206\" height=\"61\" \/><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>In her role, Samah coordinates public facing programs and community outreach at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.volunteertoronto.ca\/\">Volunteer Toronto<\/a>. Samah also oversees the volunteer engagement at Volunteer Toronto, from recruitment, training and recognition. Samah\u00a0has been a volunteer for over 6 years, in different roles and different organizations.
