{"id":18955,"date":"2024-03-25T22:03:27","date_gmt":"2024-03-26T02:03:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jss.ca\/?p=18955"},"modified":"2024-03-27T09:11:33","modified_gmt":"2024-03-27T13:11:33","slug":"jsschallenge2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jss.ca\/en\/jss-newsletter\/jsschallenge2024\/","title":{"rendered":"JSS Challenge 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Let\u2019s walk\/run together to support JSS operations! <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday June 9, 2024, 10:30-13:00 (Light refreshment provided after walk)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are pleased to announce the 4th annual \u201cJSS Challenge\u201d, a fundraising Walkathon event.\u00a0JSS Challenge started in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>Would you like to walk or run together again this year to help JSS operations?<\/p>\n<p>Continuing from last year, we will have a group walk starting from JCCC (equivalent to 5km) and a virtual walk. Participants joining remotely can walk or run for one hour at their own pace in their preferred location and let us know the distance covered.<\/p>\n<p>Our fundraising goal this year is <strong>$5000<\/strong>, and together we aim to cover <strong>100km<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p>After the walk, a social gathering with light refreshments will be held at JCCC. JSS Craft Club will sell their handmade goods as part of fundraising.<\/p>\n<p>Donations will be allocated to fund JSS operations.
