We\u2019ll discuss the latest physical activity recommendations, helping you understand how much movement is ideal especially for seniors. Additionally, we\u2019ll delve into the critical role of physical activity in preventing and managing major chronic diseases, such as hypertension, diabetes, and obesity.<\/p>\n<p>This session promises to equip you with practical insights and strategies to enhance your health and the well-being of those around you. Don\u2019t miss this opportunity to empower yourself with knowledge that can lead to a healthier life!<\/p>\n<h2>About our Guest Speaker<\/h2>\n<h4><strong>Guest Speaker :\u00a0 Kisha Goode, MPH, RKin<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Kisha Goode is a Health Promotion Specialist at the Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities. With over 20 years experience in the health field, she is passionate about supporting others in their journey toward a healthier lifestyle. Kisha is a Registered Kinesiologist with a Masters in Public Health, who applies an evidence-informed, community-needs focused lens to her work in program development, implementation, evaluation and reporting; designing and conducting community needs assessments; and health education development and delivery. Make sure to type correct email of yours.\u00a0<strong>If you don\u2019t see it, check your junk folder first<\/strong>, then contact JSS \/ Momiji.<\/p>\n<h4>2.\u00a0Your Zoom display name should be recognizable to the host<\/h4>\n<p>Upon joining, please display your name on Zoom in ways we recognize that you registered. For example, instead of using nicknames or initials, include your first and\/or last (e.g. Hanako Y, H. Yamada, Hanako Yamada) . We may not be able to allow you to enter for security purposes if we can\u2019t recognize your name.
