An hour-long online concert, bringing back by popular demand, with Toronto-based singer-songwriter Kiiola, formerly known as Yukiko Tsutsui, will be co-provided by Momiji Health Care Society<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Japanese Social Services<\/a> (JSS). Take this chance to request a memorable song!<\/p>\n

What is this session about?<\/h2>\n

\"\"Enjoy a relaxing afternoon with music!<\/p>\n

Music has the power to calm the mind, ease stress, bring back warm memories, and add moments of joy to our daily lives.<\/p>\n

Toronto-based singer-songwriter Kiiola<\/a>, formerly known as Yukiko Tsutsui, will present a one-hour live performance featuring your song requests.
We are now accepting requests\u2014please send us a song that holds a special memory for you. The deadline for song requests is Nov 16<\/span>.<\/strong><\/span>
(*Please note that not all requested songs may be included in the program.)<\/p>\n

You can easily join from anywhere with your smartphone or computer.
We warmly invite you to spend a pleasant autumn afternoon filled with music\u2014whether with family and friends or in the comfort of your own home.<\/p>\n

\"\"Singer Songwriter : Kiiola<\/a>, <\/strong>formerly known as Yukiko Tsutsui<\/h4>\n

Born in Akita City, Akita Prefecture. After working as an a cappella singer at weddings and events in Tokyo, she graduated from Selkirk College in British Columbia in 2008 with a Bachelor of Music degree. She produced and directed a radio show called \u201cJapanese Musiquest,\u201d programs introducing Japanese music and culture, aired on five stations across Canada. Since moving to Toronto in 2016, she\u2019s been performing at various events and venues, including singing the Japanese national anthem during the Richo Woodbine Mile at Woodbine Racetrack in 2018 and 2019.<\/p>\n

How to Attend<\/h2>\n

Anyone interested can attend but pre-registration required. Click the registration button below, and fill and submit it before the session date. If you have difficulty using online registration system, feel free to contact the hosting agency.<\/p>\n

The deadline for song requests is <\/em>Nov 16<\/em><\/span>. If you have a song you would like to request, please submit your request as soon as possible.<\/em><\/strong><\/span>\"\"<\/a>\uff08Registration Form will open from the button above\uff09<\/p>\n

Those who registered, will receive an invitation email with the Zoom link and ID\/Passcode, by a day before the session date from the hosting organizations. Check your junk box if you can\u2019t find it in your inbox \u2013 Email us if you don\u2019t see it anywhere.<\/p>\n

You will receive a confirmation email from the system right after you \u201cSubmit\u201d your form (this receipt does not contain the Zoom URL). Make sure to type correct email of yours.\u00a0If you don\u2019t see it, check your junk folder first<\/strong>, then contact JSS \/ Momiji.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0Your Zoom display name should be recognizable to the host<\/h4>\n

Upon joining, please display your name on Zoom in ways we recognize that you registered. For example, instead of using nicknames or initials, include your first and\/or last (e.g. Hanako Y, H. Yamada, Hanako Yamada) . We may not be able to allow you to enter for security purposes if we can\u2019t recognize your name. We\u2019ll show you how to change the display name 5 minutes before the session start.<\/p>\n
