The first session of February of our e-Learning seminar series hosted by Momiji Health Care Society<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Japanese Social Services<\/a>\u00a0(JSS), joined by\u00a0Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care\u00a0<\/a> is to learn about oral hygiene.<\/p>\n

What is this session about?<\/h2>\n

\"\"Join us for an informative health education workshop on oral hygiene!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Oral Hygiene is an important part of overall health. With proper oral hygiene, many seniors are keeping their natural teeth healthy and maintain quality of life. In this workshop, we will learn about useful tips to keep for your teeth healthy at home.<\/p>\n

About our Guest Speaker<\/h2>\n

Guest Speaker :\u00a0 Howard Ma<\/strong> (Co-Owner and Dental hygienist from ALH Dental Hygiene Clinic)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Howard obtained a HBSc degree in life science from University of Toronto in 2009; 2 years after, he successfully graduated from George Brown College with a diploma in dental hygiene. \u00a0Since then, he has worked full time in various clinics around GTA. \u00a0Howard also works as a part time clinical instructor at a local dental hygiene college. \u00a0Outside of his professional life, Howard is an avid sports fan, and enjoys spending time with his families.<\/p>\n

Howard currently work with multiple dental clinics across the GTA and he is a co-owner at the ALH Dental Hygiene Clinic.<\/p>\n

How to Attend<\/h2>\n

Anyone interested can attend but pre-registration required. Click the registration button below, and fill and submit it before the session date. If you have difficulty using online registration system, feel free to contact the hosting agency.<\/p>\n

Those who registered, will receive an invitation email with the Zoom link and ID\/Passcode, by a day before the session date from the hosting organizations. Check your junk box if you can\u2019t find it in your inbox \u2013 Email us if you don\u2019t see it anywhere.<\/p>\n

Upon joining, please display your name on Zoom in ways we recognize that you registered. For example, instead of using nicknames or initials, include your first and\/or last (e.g. Hanako Y, H. Yamada, Hanako Yamada) . We may not be able to allow you to enter for security purposes if we can\u2019t recognize your name. We\u2019ll show you how to change the display name 5 minutes before the session start.<\/p>\n
