First May session of our e-Learning series, co-hosted by Momiji Health Care Society,<\/a> Japanese Social Services (JSS)<\/a>, and Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care\u00a0<\/a> is to learn about Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP).<\/p>\n

The session will be held in English with Japanese Interpretation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What is this session about?<\/h2>\n

\"\"The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)<\/a> helps to make the cost of oral health care more affordable for uninsured Canadian residents with an adjusted family net income of less than $90,000. In this session, you will learn about eligibility criteria, CDCP costs, how to submit an application, when to submit a application to renew your CDCP, questions to ask before visiting an oral health care provider and what services are covered.<\/p>\n

About our Guest Speaker<\/h2>\n

Presenter: Christina Karagianis (Citizen Services Specialist, Service Canada)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Christina K. is a Citizen Service Specialist with the Toronto Community Outreach Team for Service Canada. Christina has over ten years of experience working with the federal government providing services to citizens. Christina\u2019s role as a Citizen Services officer in the Service Canada Centre where she provided direct service to clients led her to her current role as a Citizen Services Specialist. As a Citizen Services Specialist, Christina works to bring information about Service Canada programs and benefits to community organizations and the citizens that they serve.<\/p>\n

Anyone interested can attend but pre-registration required. Click the registration button below, and fill and submit it before the session date. If you have difficulty using online registration system, feel free to contact the hosting agency.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0Your Zoom display name should be recognizable to the host<\/h4>\n

Upon joining, please display your name on Zoom in ways we recognize that you registered. For example, instead of using nicknames or initials, include your first and\/or last (e.g. Hanako Y, H. Yamada, Hanako Yamada) . We may not be able to allow you to enter for security purposes if we can\u2019t recognize your name. We\u2019ll show you how to change the display name 5 minutes before the session start.<\/p>\n
