In this part 2 session, we will introduce ways to enjoy tea not only at home, but also while traveling and at gatherings with family and friends.*Held in Japanese<\/p>\n<h2>What is this session about?<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-22159 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/jss.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/2-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"255\" height=\"170\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jss.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/2-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/jss.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/2-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/jss.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/2-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/jss.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/2.jpg 1223w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 255px) 100vw, 255px\" \/>Would you like to bring a special moment into your everyday life through the simple practice of table-style Sado (tea ceremony)?<\/p>\n<p>In Part 2, themed \u201cA Blissful Bowl of Tea, Anywhere and with Anyone,\u201d\u00a0we will explore ways to enjoy tea in a variety of everyday settings and learn how to practice table-style Sado while on the go.<\/p>\n<p>In this seminar, you will learn about:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A review of Part 1, including the spirit of \u201cCha-Zen Ichimi\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Practical ideas for incorporating tea moments into daily life<\/li>\n<li>How to choose and use portable tea utensils for enjoying tea away from home<\/li>\n<li>A live demonstration of a table-style Sado<br \/>\nParticipants with prior tea ceremony experience are welcome to prepare their own bowl of tea alongside the instructor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Whether at home, in a park, while traveling, or during a gathering with friends, discover the joy of tea beyond traditional settings and experience a new, flexible approach to tea ceremony.<\/p>\n<h2>About our Guest Speaker<\/h2>\n<h4><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-21759 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/jss.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/sachiko-hata-206x300.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 206px) 100vw, 206px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jss.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/sachiko-hata-206x300.jpg 206w, https:\/\/jss.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/sachiko-hata.jpg 253w\" alt=\"\" width=\"206\" height=\"300\" \/>Presenter: Sachiko Hata (Zaon)<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"214\" data-end=\"541\">Originally from Hyogo Prefecture, Sachiko Hata moved to Toronto, Canada, in 1999 and now works between Toronto and Kobe. She has a diverse background as a piano tuner, music therapist, and Japanese-language singer, and shares practices for mind and body wellness through voice yoga, art, and tea ceremony.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"420\" data-end=\"890\">She began studying Japanese tea ceremony in high school at a local\u00a0<span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Urasenke<\/span><\/span>\u00a0tea school and continued her training after immigrating to Canada, eventually earning an advanced certification. Now a certified table-style tea ceremony instructor, she shares table tea ceremony as an accessible practice for self-care and well-being, encouraging people to appreciate the beauty of the present moment. She presents this practice both in Japan and internationally.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"892\" data-end=\"1110\">Sachiko is also the founder of the well-being salon\u00a0<em data-start=\"944\" data-end=\"953\">Zaon-do<\/em>, where she offers practical habits for daily wellness and supports mind and body health with a view toward independent living even into one\u2019s later years.<\/p>\n<h2>How to Attend<\/h2>\n<p>Anyone interested can attend but pre-registration required.
