What is this session about?
This two-part online seminar series from the Alzheimer Society of Toronto provides an overview of behaviours in dementia and how to respond in a supportive manner.
Building on last month’s seminar where we learned how dementia affects behaviours and communication; the second seminar will focus on providing participants with knowledge on how to supportively communicate with a person living with dementia.
This seminar aims to help participants:
- Recognize communication techniques that can be used to support people living with dementia
- Identify tips and develop strategies to improve one’s communication skills
This seminar is a useful resource for family members and caregivers of people living with dementia. We would love for you to join us.
