Increase in Thefts from gym lockers in the Don Mills area
The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an investigation into Thefts from gym lockers in the Don Mills area.
It is reported that: – to date, 16 thefts have been reported to police in 33 Division – unlocked clothing lockers have been opened and items such as wallets and car keys taken – in one case, car keys were removed from an unlocked locker and a vehicle was stolen – locked clothing lockers have been opened with lock picks and bolt cutters – personal items, including wallets, watches, cell phones and cash have been obtained If you see anyone loitering near lockers or acting suspicious, please report all thefts or suspicious activity to gym staff and the police immediately.
