2021 Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon Results
Thank you for your generous support!
Thanks to all of you, this year’s Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon was a great success. The total amount of donations was $18,395, far exceeding our expectations.
In addition to the seven members of JSS, board members, volunteers and community members, Ms. Momoka Watanabe, a doctoral student at Concordia University, and members of the Culture and Multiculturism Labs also participated in the event. The Toronto group participate remotely, but the Concordia University group was able to gather and walk together. They shared photos of their lovely outdoor picnic as you can see in the collage. I would also like to inform everyone that we received a very large donation from the late Mrs. Junko Yamamoto, who sadly passed away recently.
Your generous donations and supportive comments powered the Team JSS to complete this event. Thank you very much!
In addition to achieving our fundraising goal, the JSS staff and board members are filled with gratitude that so many people are interested in mutual aid in the Japanese community, and that they understand, value, and support our services.
Again, thank you for your continued support of Japanese Social Services.
