November 2021 Schedule
Nov 17 (3rd Wed) 10:30~12:00: Needlework Enthusiast Course
(1) Christmas season is just around the corner!
~Santa’s Ornaments and Gift Tags ~ #1
You will be making ornaments and Santa Clause motif crochet for your Christmas tree and tags for presents!
(2)Planning for Gift Season #2
Are you interested in knitting scarves, hats, socks, vests, sweaters, etc? Feel free to ask our instructor during our seminars.
Once you learn how to knit/crochet and the patterns, you will be able to make anything in any size and color for significant others. This is the best part of needlework!
There will be an instructor and participants who have been devoting their time for needlework as a hobby, so feel free to ask them for help to incorporate your own ideas in your needlework!
There is no set skill level. Anyone can join.
Register now! It’ll be Christmas before you know it!
We can meaningfully use our time to prepare presents for someone special.
Instructor (volunteer): Kaneko Nakahara
- Kaneko’s Haiku this month
- ひと刷毛の雲に旭の差す冬隣り かね子
- （ひとはけの くもにひのさす ふゆどなり）
Have any comments/questions on her haiku? Please reach an instructor at our session.
Looking forward to seeing you in our November 2021 Craft Club Social! Come and enjoy knitting and chat with fellow knitters.
How to Join
RSVP to our Craft Club coordinator by email（email@example.com）- please indicate which session you would like to attend. The coordinator will send the Zoom link by a day before the session day.
You will also receive the information about the craft work for what you registered to (in Japanese). That means, you can start working on it even before the session day! During the session, you can sew/knit together with fellow Japanese-speaking craft lovers, share your work with them, and enjoy chatting (the topic can be anything, not limited to arts & crafts).
First Time Joining?
Anyone who loves or interested in arts & crafts (and can communicate in Japanese) are welcome. If you want chat-only (no crafting or no sharing your work during the session), that is totally fine too!
Only for your first time attending, pre-registration via the Online Registration Form is required, for you to read and agree to our online program rules. We appreciate your understanding.
